So we’re changing the name a bit but we are still the same team that take pleasure in welcoming you to the practice and pride in providing a personal, professional service from optometrist to dispenser to optical assistant.
Meet The Team
Carla Di Mambro, born and bred in Hamilton, has has been working in the town for over ten years. In that time she has gained a great reputation as an optometrist that listens and delivers. She is passionate about giving you the best eye-care, and making sure that the experience is an enjoyable one. With over 30 years experience in the optical industry, you will be in safe hands.
Louise Connolly met the team when she needed some work experience before she applied to university and Carla was more than happy to help out. Louise got her place and went off to study. Years later she saw an advert that Carla needed another optometrist. Fully qualified, she reached out and, once Carla recognised her, got offered the job instantly. She is an excellent, caring and committed optometrist.
Taiyuba Rasul joined the team in 2017. She now works part-time as she has a young family. She’s just lovely and dedicated to providing first-class eye-care. She is fluent in Urdu and Pujabi, which has proved very helpful on occasion.
The Optical Factor front of house team consist of Lynn, the manager, Sarah Jane, the dispensing optician as well as Elaine and Jackie. These four lovely ladies, with their years of experience give excellent advice in frame selection – including telling you what does and doesn’t suit you. They have a wealth of knowledge about lenses and will ensure that you get the best option for your prescription, face and budget.
